well, because of the wonderful security of hd dvd, just rip the hd dvd version, take a nice 4x blu-ray burner and put it on a blu-ray disc. enjoy

so if you want to watch transformers on blu-ray itll be: 1 hd dvd (30 bucks); 1 BD burner (500 bucks), 1 blank 50GB blu-ray disc (40 bucks), so total its 570 bucks for Transformers on BD.
