Currently my second most wanted blu (after Fallen Angels). Still hoping for the Criterion treatment soon.

Unfortunately, they just lost the rights to it, so a Criterion release any time soon is highly unlikely.

Ah thats too bad - I was so excited that it was listed in their orginal "in the pipeline" list. Although as long as the PQ is up to snuff on this version, it's region free, and has english subs, I should be all set.

Any idea what the odds are of this release meeting the those last two requirements?

Given the film's record on DVD in the Benelux and France, it would be a shocking development if English subtitles are supplied.
