Why the hell would you do that. Buy the actual classic physical board game, no need for any electronics at all. No battery involved. Doesn't stop working after a few hours because the battery ran out.

I think Nintendo may be content with riding out the generation until 2023. If my analysis of hardware sales is numbers is correct, yearly sales of hardware in every region (JP,US,EU,Other) have increased every year since 2017. They're not going to jump to the next generation until that line graph shows signs of dipping.
