I didn't think it could top WandaVision which I absolutely adored but here we are. This is probably the best of the three shows so far. I absolutely love it.

Loki is better than ever. Sylvie is awesome. Mobius is awesome. The music is awesome. The Loki-verse is awesome. Everything in this show just awesome.

I also think that it is going to be Kang running the show next week. I kept shouting his name during today's episode when they were talking to Miss Minutes about who created the TVA. BUT that being said I do also think there is a possibility that we won't see Kang yet and it could be revealed that a Loki variant created the TVA. Could be an interesting twist as well... a variant who considers himself the superior Loki and prevents other Loki variants from achieving superiority.

But I'm more leaning towards Kang the Conqueror

Who is to say there aren't Kang variants.

My wacky predictions:

[Show spoiler]It's a little late in the series to introduce a new villain in the last episode like Kang. I think the person behind everything is..... another Loki variant.

Mobius is from Atlantis. (Or maybe he just sold jet skis in his previous life.)

Renslayer is a varient too.

It will be hinted that the story Classic Loki (Richard E. Grant) told about tricking Thanos is what the Loki we know did to avoid death too. (I remember reading fan theories about that exact scenario.)

The TVA will still be around at the end of all this, but will be to find renegade time travelers, not to erase people or timelines.

We will see Coulson again.

I think Classic Loki's story was just a reference to those theories. I don't think it means anything for the main Loki also actually doing it. I truly believe that Loki is dead and the Loki we follow in the future will be Variant Loki.

I thought it was weird that they didn't show what she saw when Sylvie enchanted her.

Hey all,

I haven't posted much in quite a while, and I've especially kept quite on this series thus far. I haven't gone back through this thread and looked at anyone else's opinions on the show yet, so my views on it are based solely on the episodes we've gotten so far.

With the first episode of Loki, I was totally onboard. I even thought it was better than what we had gotten from WandaVision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier, which both ended up being mediocre at best. The second episode of Loki was... eh... okay. But then there was episode 3 -- that's where the series took a real nosedive, and it only seems to keep getting worse. This show is just painful to watch. It is truly friggin' awful.

Who is writing and directing this crap? Decades of Marvel Comics history to pull from and they give us this dreck? There are moments where it seems like the banter between characters is being made up on the fly while the camera is left running just to meet the episode's required runtime. Probably the worst thing Marvel Studios has produced so far.

One more episode to go! I'm not sure I can contain my excitement to see how it ends.

Yeah, I don't expect my post here to be popular, but I wanted to express my opinion anyway.

Just finished No. 5 a few moments ago, and that was easily the wildest, most "wow" episode and a total breeze to watch; it felt like it flew by and they just nailed it from start to finish. I love how they've been able to navigate the murky waters of the MCU canon and timeline and kept it from feeling forced and unnecessary, and have actually made Loki an even more memorable personality. Their ability to introduce Lady Loki and within just a few episodes make that character stand out is a real impressive feat given the magnitude of the universe.

Want to also shout out Richard Grant for being an awesome addition here as well.

I'm ready for the finale. A satisfying conclusion and it will rival WandaVision as my favorite D+ MCU show.

Maybe a COVID problem? Like the many that severely hurt Falcon and Winter Soldier?

The action and special effects look great, but the dialogue is actually my favorite part. Such a great cast. Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15) deserves an Emmy nom.

I think the show is a mixed bag.

I've refrained from commenting lately because i had real problems with episode 3 and felt the heat from people because I wasn't 100% rah rah. The next two episodes are definitely better and fun but most of the posts are just raving about cool Easter Eggs.

Remember back in E2 when a huge deal was made of Sylvie sending all those time bombs throughout history, creating chaos at the tva and causing lots of branches at once? Apparently the writers don't.

Latest episode was enjoyable....which is what any of this should be.

Mixed bag overall is a pretty good description. They clearly wrote themselves into corners and then just moved on....which is ok in the comic book world, I guess, but when you cross over to visual media it just begs for dissection.

After we see how it ends then we can be left with a good or bad taste and just say it had its moments. If every episode had been like this one, it could have been so much more.
Maybe someone will do a fan edit and cut the first two episodes down to about 20 minutes total.

I was amused by the appearance of a Polybius arcade cabinet in Loki’s hideout room

Fair and reasonable now that you've stopped just shitting on the show with the bad memes.

I don't want to be "that guy". I'm not a hater and wanted to love this but I'm not. Or at least not as much as I expected or wanted. It's a beautiful show, the effects and costumes are great and the music is just wonderful.

The time bomb thing looked to be a distraction. Loki pretty much spoiled that.
