Any digital copy with the correct aspect ratio (1.85:1)?

I have checked Movies Anywhere, Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Amazon. They all have 16:9.

Nope. Warner just opened the mattes a bit, this is true for nearly all Warner 1.85 films.

OK. Thought it may be cropped horizontally to fit 16:9 screens.

Vudu just added the "Remastered Special Edition" (with the yellowish key art). Showing in the third row when sorting by "recently added". So now it has two copies of the same movie. Probably the only store with two copies I guess. Others have replaced the old one with new "remastered" version.

Though interestingly not in 4K and not MA (at least not yet).

The thumbnail on MA is that of the remastered version: https://moviesanywhere.com/movie/goodfellas

Makes me wonder if the file being streamed is really the remastered one.

iTunes has had the remastered edition since 2015. The listing here was then updated to UHD in 2017. I'm wondering if this is a new listing on Vudu from the FNow merge? I'm not sure if the remastered edition was on FNow or not. Maybe someone else can shine some light. I do think it's dumb when these studios make double listings. I can understand if the studios switch, but this is been with Warner.

From MA's end - the ones linked with the remastered are Amazon, iTunes, Google and Microsoft. Seems MA still links to Vudu's old listing, which is in UHD, while their new listing is only HDX. Look for another mangled mess coming our way. LOL
