Michael has removed his mask two other times in the series. In Halloween 5 he removed it to put on the mask Tina’s boyfriend was wearing. When he takes that mask off you see him picking up his white mask. In the producer’s cut of Halloween 6 he put the mask on Dr. Wynn and wore Wynn’s cowboy hat.

Edit: He removes his mask a second time in H5 when Jamie says “Uncle, let me see” and a tear drop falls from his eye.

I stand corrected. Still, much as I don’t give a shit about Resurrections existence, she didn’t get him in H20.. it’s all Ll’s fault.

Actually he took his mask off a fourth time if we consider that he put it on a paramedic. But I think it’s safe to say that Michael never tried to take his mask off the way “he” did at the end of H20. I’m kind of surprised they left that in since the goal was to make everyone think Myers was dead until the sequel. I guess it worked though, because the way he was brought back is laughable and pretty unimaginable.
