Because the bonus disc was tempting, I ordered the Ultimate edition for $70. I have by the end of Jan. to return it so I fully expect a UHD box set to be announced the following month.

Screw it. I just bought it and I'll grab a separate multidisc case later on to throw NTTD in.

I've seen Quantum three times since it released and I find myself enjoying it a little more every time. It's not nearly as good as any of the others, but I think for what it is, it's pretty alright.

I have bought a few of my favorite Bond’s on iTunes and they are in 4K but glad to have complete HD on VUDU and the Blu-ray’s.

A very nice box and love the packaging. I’ve been wanting this box since it first came out but the price was too high.

Time to purge some of my individual titles even though I’ll be lucky to get 50 cents for them.

So wait, do the vudu codes redeem in HD only, not 4K? Don’t know why I was thinking O.W., I guess b/c iTunes codes from paramount redeem in 4k…

There are no stickers on this box but the back of the box at the bottom now says “Digital codes may not be valid after 2023”

Amazon probably removed the stickers and updated the codes.

I didn’t go to Fox Redeem and just went straight to vudu since I recalled the sticker said Ultra Violet which it doesn’t say anymore on the package. Maybe I blew it by not checking. And all it says is Digital nothing about movies anywhere.

I’m fine with HD but I also have no choice

Edit: it is one code to redeem all 24 films. I noticed on iTunes that there is no James Bond Ultimate Collection to redeem so I guess the next person who redeems will be able to tell us if Fox Redeem gives an option for iTunes.

The Everything or Nothing feature which many people wanted on disc runs about 97 minutes. I’m watching it now and it’s really good. A history of Bond from Ian Fleming’s books to film and the actors portraying Bond. Many people from the productions and the children of the producers are interviewed.

Edit: while John Barry is mentioned there is no mention of the incredible James Bond theme by Monty Norman, one of the most iconic themes in movie history.

I’m stuck trying to decide whether to cancel my Amazon order… I guess I can return it if I change my mind.

Eating $70 is less bad than having to eat a dog lol

Edit: I decided to cancel it… even if the sale ends, it won’t be hard to get James Bond Blu-Rays any time soon.

I said screw it and decided to pick the black box up. I've been wanting to watch the series again and doing it on DVD just didn't appeal to me. I want to see it in HD.

Dammit. Now watch. The complete 4K set is going to be announced next year. F---. That'd be just my luck. It happens to me EVERY SINGLE TIME I buy a set on BD.

I suppose I could sell this set, but I'll surely have to take a hit on it.

Oh well. I'm happy to take the hit as long as we get every single movie in 4K. With brand new special features. (Wanna take bets on price? I'll say $299-$349)

Meh. I thought Spectre was crap and this new one was a joke too. It doesn't bother me one bit that it's not part of the set. I don't even really like Craig as Bond. He's my least favorite Bond of them all thus far. But when the time is right and I find NTTD on 4K for a steeply discounted price, then I'll pick it up. No big deal.

The cost of the 4K box initially will be steep.

The Black Box with codes was released in 2016 so I’ve been waiting 5 years for this price.

Basically I’m paying a little over $3 for a Blu-ray Disc and HD code and get a nifty little book on Bond Posters.

Another great mid-December deal as well as the Friday The 13th box with codes.

Stuff keeps popping up (oh and Inglorious Basterds 4K for $10 at BB)

Sold all 24 Individual Blu-rays for $60 back in Oct, so this a no Brainer for me. Now I also get them on Digital.

Craig isn't my favorite Bond, but I liked him very much in the role, and I enjoyed all 5 movies. Quantum, as I've mentioned, is the "least good", but I still liked it fine.

I don't care about the digital codes nor having all 24 pre-NTTD films (as I already have seen them all and currently own the ones that I really liked), but that bonus disc with the "Everything or Nothing" documentary is really tempting...
