I think all games coming out now have trophies. Sony made it mandatory at the beginning of this year (but maybe just for titles that were announced AFTER Dec 31st)

Yeah but I guess it depended on when they applied for "certification" forgot the actual term on if they fell into the requirement or not. Knowing EA's lazy asses and with no released lists had me worried that they fell into the exempt time frame lol

Played a round and it is very fun! It has trophies too. They load up when you start the game.

Edit: Wanted to add how much better it looks than last year.

Already a new course available for download: Spyglass Hill - $7.50

I'm picking it up on the Wii tomorrow. I'll let you know what I think. The Wii-Motion Plus bundle was just too good to pass up for me. Hoping we see motion controls in Tiger Woods 11 for PS3

That is true, but the Wii version has disc golf in it as well, which uses the new motion plus. I saw the demo on it and it was amazing. Might pick it up for both systems.

Bought the game today. Not sure if it was worth it. Only played a little bit. Nothing different from the previous series. I just can't get my gameface thing going though. EA won't recognize my PS id

Don't think too hard. It's not different from previous series

so if you could re-do the transaction over again...buy? rent? save some cash and pick up last years used copy? I never owned a Tiger Woods series title....played them yes.

I bought it for the Wii and I have to tell you guys...it's AMAZING.

Once you try the Wii Motion Plus motion controls, there's no going back. Ever. This is the only way to play golf at home on a tv. The controls work brilliantly. The 1:1 handling of the club while putting, fade/draw motion control, the disc golf mini-game (has to be played to be believed, it's ADDICTING) and more courses than all other console versions make this one the ONLY one to get.

I love my PS3, but the Wii version is the definitive version as far as I'm concerned.

Is there a MotionPlus controller bundle with the game? If so I may look at this version. How much is it the MotionPlus anyways?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you're on the fence between PS3 and Wii, I would definitely go with the Wii version. Currently the PS3 has a fairly substantial bug that is preventing people from completing the second career tournament. The devs are looking into the issue, but who knows when it will get patched.

Bundle is $56.99 on Amazon while the Stand Alone MotionPlus is $20. So you are basically saving $10.
