Showtime will be releasing Ray Donovan The Movie on 4K UHD on May 24th

I'm actually really surprised this is not only getting a Blu-ray, but a 4K as well. Still hope they give us a complete series in HD at some point.

I wouldn't recommend watching the movie first, it's essentially an extended episode to wrap up the story. Kinda like Serenity but with way more flashbacks.

Kind of a pointless release. The only reason to watch this is if you've seen the entire show on DVD or Showtime which already has this available in 4KDV.

I'm glad we got a conclusion instead of just being cancelled, but at the same time, I disliked the movie strongly.

Why bother with a 4k for the movie and no HDR? Sounds like one person approved it and then got fired and later someone new came in and went back to cut costs? Would HDR really cost that much more? I'm surprised the entire series doesn't have a bluray or 4k release. I thought it was awesome for the most part. Lots of funny writing. Things took a turn around the move that I could see a lot of people not liking. Otherwise wtf I don't get it.
