i mailed shout factory early this year but apparently this is just a rumor. nothing is confirmed yet.

Here's to hoping these are better than the bungled 1080i Anchor Bay BD's of both. Two of the only times I haven't even flinched about re-encoding "lest I lose something" after ripping it and adding it to my media server.

Was there someone over at Anchor Bay/Starz 10 years ago who just saw it fit to interlace film content (these two) and de-interlace something that should've been presented VFR/1080p-as-1080i (Ghost in the Shell: SAC) for kicks? For crying out loud.

They should be. These are "it's time to release these properly" restorations from the master materials, carried out by his son, who oversees all of his creative works.

So, just to be clear, the release of Lion in the Desert includes the film on Blu-ray right? The spine seems to indict it does, but the front cover doesn't have the 4K + Blu-ray that is usually included in the combo packs.

According to the Shout Factory website, the language is, Arabic, English, with English subs.

I saw that but according to IMDB the Arabic version is longer
English is 2 hours 57 min while Arabic is 3 hours 27 min
