That Monk thread was moved yesterday. When a mod moves (or merges) a thread, there's an option of leaving a permanent redirect, a redirect that expires between 1 day and several days, weeks, months etc, or leave no redirect. So it may have been moved with a redirect that expires on one day or with no redirect.

If I moved a thread I would use an expiring redirect of a couple of days to a week.

Thanks for the information. So if it gets moved and/or merged with no redirect I guess the subscription doesn't carry over? Could you pass along a suggestion to make the software have the subscription carry over even when there's no redirect? Thanks for your helpfulness
