Just like me. I had a PS3 and Blu-ray movies but no HDTV. I was playing Resistance on a 27" CRT. I ended up getting a fat bonus from work and spent the whole thing on my current TV.

You should post this for your ratings. I would give you a 10+.

when I was 14 I wasn't allowed to have a T.V. in my room (working or otherwise)

Heck, I didn't get cable until I went to college.

Haha. What kind of TV are you looking at getting? Oh and the reason that Tru2theblu said that was because the way your first post was worded, and that picture, it kinda looked like you could have been f**king around. Some people get kinda protective of their forum haha

So you got a TV in mind?

Good choices on TV brands. What models?Hey, building an HT system is not a sprint but a marathon. Take your sweet time.

Yeah if you're thinking of getting Samsung, I'd recommend a Samsung 40" 650 or a 46" 650. I'm not sure what your budget is, and those prices may sound a bit steep, I know, I was there not too long ago. And for me, I was only 22 and I was saving the cash to buy a PS3 and a big TV and it was tough, but soooo worth it in the long run. Hell if you can spare the cash, go for a Samsung LN52A750. They're $1799 on Amazon.

Anyways, good luck to you man. Keep us updated
