Yeah. That's....something. I saw that in Target on Tuesday. THAT'S why Lionsgate is putting DVD first on the cover instead of Blu-Ray. It's in a DVD case!

My wild guess, slightly educated (albiet argueably, and I'll leave those misspells in), Wal-Mart shelf space. I see so many ****ing dvds there, then go to Best Buy or online to get the blu-ray. Vestron works for WM since they don't put out dvds, but pretty much every single RLJE title fits my theory.

They will only carry one version per title. Maybe they have blus online, but I hardly ever see them in store.

With a little trimming of the slipcover and artwork I may be able to get everything into a blu-ray case.

I saw this at Best Buy and was surprised because you never see new release DVDs at Best Buy anymore. I didn't look close enough to see it was a blu-ray.

Extremely lame. But Seems like its probably cheaper to make a terrible DVD case.

What am I suppose to do with DVD case?

The kids were confused by it.

A few people laughed. A few people cried. Most people were silent.

I hate DVD's. You go into Walmart and its like its still 2004.

I'm not paying Blu-ray price for DVD case.

Just wait until you see mediabooks.

Charitably it’s either to increase sales from DVD customers, or there’s a case shortage.

This was happening a decade ago with films like Fantasia though.
