Child's Play 3 isn't worth $30+...glad I'm not in the camp that purchased all/most of SF's CEs out the gate as look at how much of their CEs are either being re-released by SF as 4k or by other labels, anyone trying to keep up with these upgrades its like whack a mole.

If Ferngully is getting a new Blu-ray release, I wonder if SF is still able to liscence titles from the Fox library?

It'll likely be $27.99 on Amazon on Release day and potentially could dip to as low as $22.99 in October/November for a day or two. For folks like yourself that can't justify the price now, I would imagine that with time you'll eventually get a more palatable price of low to mid $20's by Fall 2023.

No, Shout! acquired worldwide rights for the movie, but not directly from Fox (they were just distributors for the US). I think it was from the production company behind the film, FAI Films. Specifics aren't available, just that it was negotiated between Shout, and SFO Entertainment.

It would be great to get a 4K release of 'Sleepaway Camp' even if it's just the first film. But I would also LOVE to see 'The Burning' get a 4K release at some point

I spoke to them about doing a complete box set for Sleepaway Camp with new extras and including Return since it hasn't even been on bluray ever... they said they have thought about doing a real box set for the franchise but have too much going on right now, hopefully one day it will happen because I think it deserves the special treatment so we can replace our survival kits lol

I replaced my survival kit with the SF BDs. I just kept the booklet & bonus disc.

mine is signed by some of the cast so I'll probably keep it forever but ugh is the artwork horrible!

Some people believe due to the significance of their Aug releases this signals something huge for Sep/Oct. Possibly ANOES 4k box, or the rest of the Halloween series in 4k.

My Survival Kit isn't signed by anyone, but it is the recalled Red Cross edition, plus the Best Buy version with bonus disc, so never going to let it go. I don't think the artwork is bad; sort of creative for the time.

That would make a lot more sense than people hyping themselves for A Nightmare on elm street box set.

God I hope Scream gives us the original poster on the slipcover and not something weird like the first Child's play and recycle The Fog's older artwork...

I had one of those in mint condition but I gave it away, it even had a copy of part 4 in it (as horrible as it is)... I'm sure whoever got that one was very happy, the one I have signed is the Red Cross approved artwork lol
