Default 16:9 or 4:3?

Hey guys,

I have an infocus X2 projector that is hooked up to a Sony BDP-s350. Both are set to the 4:3 format. Would I benefit at all by changing the projector to it's non-native 16:9 format and changing the blu-ray player to the 16:9 format also?

-Thanks

I've created a monster. Welcome to the forum.

If I understand your question, yes, going to 16:9 will give more visible picture, albeit at the cost of black bars.
