Mild upgrade, decided to get a new tv stand and wall mount my 65" set. Looking at a Samsung 82" down the road

Another mild upgrade. Sony 85" X900H, replaced Samsung UHD players with Sony X800M2 units. Added 2 Denon DNP-800NE network media players along with Synology and Drobo NAS units, also 2 SVS SB2000 sub units, and Nvidia Shield Pro. Samsung 65" KS8000 set moved to the bedroom.

Looks like you swapped out 2 SVS SB2000 for a SVS PB16-Ultra.

Did you get rid of them or moved them elsewhere in your setup?

Yea, been looking at the Ultra since I bought the SB2's, couldn't buy it at the time. The SB2's got moved to the bedrooms to replace 2 Velodyne VA1012XII's, which are for sale.

If you can, I would recommend wall mounting the TV.

It's actually on a full motion mount, hovers about an inch from the stand.

yea, overkill for my apt. I made a mistake initially, I bought 2 SB2's instead of PB2's, my thoughts were the sealed boxes would be more accurate (my old car audio install days). However I realized that the PB2's would have a better low end for movies and music. Told myself next sub I buy is gonna be a flagship and my last. Looked at Paradigm's Sub 2, however $11K wasn't gonna happen easily. Back to SVS, looking at the PB16U, more in the budget and 2 of them is less expensive then one Sub 2. Checked out SVS sub matching tool and read some reviews, the rest is history.

Honestly I have never heard anything from the neighbors other than friendly small talk. I keep the volume down at night. With the PB16 and you do not have to turn it up much to get tactile bass out of it. My setup at this point is grown way past my apt, I am looking at houses and free standing condo's (once the housing market comes back down).

In each bedroom I had a Velodyne VA1012XII, those were getting old and finicky. Once the PB16 plan was in motion, the Velo's were up for sale and the SB2's took their places.

Lastly, I picked up a UMIK-1 and ran the REW software, got some surprisingly mostly flat response from the PB in my MLP. Need to do some minor adjustments with it's eq, other than that its sounds great.
