When I first saw this I went in with VERY low expectations and it was surprisingly enjoyable, certainly more so than the ghoulish Trail. It's also much better than the later Son.
Still, it pales in comparison to the Sellers films and seeing as Wass bombed out as the lead, United Artists really should have taken Dudley Moore up on his offer to make a standalone appearance for Romance and ended the series. The best part of the movie is the cameo by "Turk Thrust II" at the end. |
