I ordered this from Amazon the other day for $29 (the UHD) and was surprised when I got it today to see that it came with a slipcover. Maybe this is just because it was a first pressing(?)

What was the condition your slipcase arrived in? Generally I'm not that fussy about slipcases, however this one actually looks nice and with the USD value, added VAT and shipping, not too happy about this.

Hm, also seems like my initial BFI purchase was the better choice.

I wouldn't take that chance. I don't think VS titles have slips from Amazon. If you want a guaranteed copy with slip order from Severin, Diabolik, or Grindhouse Video.

I honestly don't see the risk. These slips won't sell out on the Severin site prior to street date and worst case scenario you just return the Amazon order and just order there.

No they won't sell out for awhile. I'm just trying to steer people in the right direction where you're guaranteed a slip that will be shipped with care bubble wrapped and in a box.
