Default Something you hate about your fave movie

Everyone has a favorite movie of all time (some more than others). With that being said...no movie is perfect.
What is something you hate about your all-time favorite movie?
Mine is simple...JAWS: I always hated those 2 animated shooting stars.

My favorite movie is LOTR. I think the casting was generally terrible, especially Frodo. There were a few great choices, like Gandalf; but for the most part, I think the casting was all wrong on many characters.

I take it you read the books first.

I believe that is the implicit basis of my statement.

One of my faves is Hellraiser, and after watching the Blu-Ray it reminded me of how stupid and pointless it is when
[Show spoiler]the creepy homeless-looking guy who eats crickets at the pet shop turns into a winged serpent and flies off with the puzzle box.
Completely and totally unnecessary, and looks totally corny and fake.

I agree. The first two movies are awesome, but Clive Barker made some weird choices that seem to have only been thrown in there to say "It will never end" and it's really disappointing, because Clive Barker is creative enough and a good enough storyteller to find a much more subtle and believable way to imply such a point. Hell, I'd even prefer somebody just flat out saying it. Right at the end of the movie, show somebody with a beguiled look, holding their head, rocking back and forth, saying "It will never end . . ." It wouldn't be the best choice in the world, but it wouldn't be any worse than that goofy serpent.

EASY!!

Superman: the Movie....the part of the flying sequence when Margot Kidder recites her whole "can you read my mind" voiceover...scene would have been SO much better had she not said anything.....

Didnt he have that in ET as well? Think he has done that shooting star thing in several films.

Blade Runner

Bad audio work...

1) When Sebastian says "Don't worry, I won't hurt you" to Pris. Chopped and garbled, like it was temporarily sped up.

2) Directors cut - when Roy says "I want more life... Father". When we all know it used to be much, much cooler. A line immortalized by Rob Zombie in "More human than human".

The Godfather

Something I hate about my favorite movie is that some people say they didn't care for it and it isn't their favorite movie.
