I like it, but it's not one I revisit often. I have the double feature disc from Dark Force which also includes Jose Larraz's The House that Vanished. It is a low-rent Italian Exorcist knock-off, but it is very surreal at times and has some creepy moments. The ending is particularly over-the-top, and there is a lot of scandalous sexuality mixed in with the Catholic religious content. Ivan Rassimov was a perfect fit for this movie playing the devil—he is, dare I say, sexy in it.

The only thing I didn't like about the Eerie Midnight Horror Show is the very silly title cashing in on Rocky Horror.

Raped By The Devil would have been better.

I'm a big fan of all of these late 60's/70's witchcraft type movies. I really hope L.Q. Jones opens up his vaults for Bill to do WITCHMAKER. I also hope Code Red is able to get BLOOD SABBATH someday.

That is awesome, Bill. I am a big fan of L.Q. Jones from his days as an actor with Peckinpah's stock company to his directing efforts. I absolutely love his A Boy and His Dog - a masterpiece of 1970s dystopian science fiction. One of my favorite films. I was ecstatic when it finally came to Blu-ray a few years ago. Very cool you are friends with him. I have seen some interviews with him on home video releases. Seems like a great guy with great stories.

Resurrecting an exchange of posts with Bill from years ago due to the sad news of the passing of LQ Jones at the age of 94. Sorry that your friend is no longer with us, Bill. He was one of the greats. RIP.
