As for paying to see this theatrically, I need the ending spoiled for me first, if the leaks are true then I'm not wasting my money on that.
I think the most realistic ray of light for the 3D community going forward is VR. VR does actually appear to be pushing studios into making 3D content again, even if just to have for their library coming up. What remains to be seen is if VR can kickstart a 3D TV or glasses free 3D experience at home, but I think what is most plausible is streaming apps having dedicated VR sections, and then enthusiasts making a download or rip of this (as has happened for any content on streaming services ever) and then being turned into a 3D Blu-ray or similar format. I’d prefer if they just sell us their damn movies, but studios seem so averse to doing that these days.

Slightly off topic, although realistically this might be the best chance we have to ever watch this movie in 3D at home.

I honestly was not even going to bother with this installment. If it's in 3D then it looks like I'll have to afterall.

Yeah, I'm hoping that if this Apple Vision Pro headset is successful then maybe owners will start demanding 3D Movie content to actually watch on the things!

One thing Cinemark does that can be confusing to audiences is when they post "Put on your 3D Glasses Now!", then show a 3D trailer of a film, and then mix in 2D film trailers afterwards too, which could be what happened.

Thanks. That retweet is possibly what helped get the rumor going that this would be 3D. I think 3D would've helped for sure.

The Cinemark thing is indeed awkward, one of my buddies saw the 2D ad for Cinemark's movie club after having been instructed to don his glasses and he thought it was the best 3D of the entire presentation.

The power of suggestion, I guess?

Indy 5 had one premium screen at the Cinemark here, and otherwise was relegated to the tiny screens buried in the bowels of the megaplex. 3D definitely would have helped, if only because the smallest 3D screen here is much larger than what Indy is on now.
