Following on from the above, quoted post, checked EpGuides earlier for Dalgliesh to see if there was an update, as a few weeks ago after doing a web search for news of the second series, I saw something among the search results which suggested it will start in April in the States.

Based on how long after each episode of Series 1 premiered in the States (on Acorn tv), seeing the airdates put up recently on EpGuides, Channel Five should start the premiere UK TV airing in late April. Each of the three two-part adaptations will premiere on Acorn tv in the States on Monday 24th April, Monday 1st May and Monday 8th May respectively.

I think the first series of Dalgliesh was released on DVD in the UK by Acorn Media. It had a German DVD release, but I don't know by which boutique label. Acorn Media did release one or two series on Blu-ray in the UK, but that seems a long time ago. I'm sure Acorn have had some involvement in the production of Dalgliesh. Just wish someone else who would release the series on Blu-ray had the physical media rights in the UK, as when I saw Series 1 on Channel Five HD, it looked very good indeed.
