I would prefer a Zelda animated movie first before we a 2nd Super Mario Brothers. Also don't we have better villains in this series other then Wario?

Who says that won't happen? I'd be surprised if we don't get some kind of announcement in the next few months. It's also a matter of approach as well. Will Nintendo go for animation or live action with Zelda or Metroid perhaps? Hell, A Perfect Dark would be a neato project.

I think Zelda can work as either live action or animation, but Metroid needs to be live-action, if it was animated then it would be watered down too much unless you go for a Final Fantasy Movie type deal. Which i don't see making that much money

I mean, I would presume that if either Zelda or Metroid were based fairly closely off of the games, it would be rather possible for them to remain animated. I think what's more important is that each franchise is built around its own unique tone that is fitting for said franchise. With what people like and expect for Metroid for example, making it feel like a light and humorous Illumination/Pixar-type movie won't work.

Zelda, Metroid, and Star Fox also could be done in a number of ways, including a more serious, big-budget live-action movie or TV form. Franchises like Donkey Kong or Kirby are a bit less adaptable in my opinion.
