The local bestbuy has a 7.1 setup with 2 sub-12's and it's got some impact for sure. I don't think I would pay retail for one though, scour the web for a deal.

Looking at your room you could put the subs on the side, like the pic that says 'Best'

i just did some remodeling and as soon as i get my second sub it will be like that
