I think it's absolutely hilarious that when studios mess with the artwork (floating heads, etc.) there are complaints left and right about how the original poster artwork wasn't used. Now, in this case, it is - and there's still complaints.

Paramount seems to like to make their DVD/BD art more abstract.
They never try to make them covered in flames and mist and lightning like many Fox releases are.
They usually are the movie posters, but "cleaner".
Look at the Transformers artwork, it's just Optimus Prime against a white background.
The Iron Man artwork, was Iron Man, no floating heads of the cast or quotes from reviewers. Just Iron Man, with Stark underneath the slipcase.
This one is just the movie's one-sheet, but my problem with it is that the text is enormous and detailed. If it was smaller, it wouldn't clash with the nice calm black and white photo of the enterprise. It'd beautiful in my opinion, but now half the image is this huge logo.

I don't care what the cover art looks like, I'm not buying a piece of "cover art", I'm buying the movie thats inside the box. Lets hope they do a good job with the technical aspects of the movie on blu instead of worrying about what's on the box!

I could care less about the cover. the PQ and AQ on the disc are all that matter.

I like the original art from the poster. I'm not a fan of the art with "floating heads".

+100. It always baffles me on the arguments about cover art. Do you all just sit and stare at this stuff for like hours. I buy Blu for PQ and AQ thats it. Really ?

The reason people complain is because that poster was crap. I've hated it since the first time I saw it. However, as I said before, I don't care what the cover is. I want this movie on BD with 1080/24p video and lossless audio.
