Has anyone ordered from the French CH Canada web site?

I placed an order for Ghostbusters, Friday the 13th, Quarantine, and Tropic Thunder yesterday, and I was wondering what kind of waiting time I should expect. Are all orders still shipped out from the Toronto area?

I did, and you have to expect the same time for delivery as for the english site. They don't have sent me a shipping confirmation though, but received it maybe a week or so after the order been made.

And yes, shipping from the same facility as the english site

Any difference with the packaging? Still bilingual or fully French?

Ordered 3 titles, all of them are bilingual.... but I can't say for all the titles....

It would be hard to have a fully French cover.

bilingual covers didnt bug me as much before, still dont. but have to admit the american ones look nicer

I just wondered if the French site would have all-French covers. It seems to sell the same as the regular site.

Wait.. so the only difference in buying the Blus from the French CH canada would be .... nothing? Except maybe bilingual covers which Im used to anyways? Other then that you are getting the exact same Blu ray disc with audio options to listen in multiple languages?

Does the regular CHcanadas membership carry over to the french site?

It appears to be identical.

And you can avoid PST if you don't live in Quebec, presumably?

You have to create a new account but it's free.

So if I buy in Ontario, I pay $13.99 + $1.99 shipping + $2.08 tax

If I buy from Quebec I pay $13.99 + $1.99 shipping + 81c tax.

Or do I have it wrong?

I was hoping for more. I see most of these movies on the trading forum. I was hoping for some newer stuff. Pretty disappointed.

Crap, I bought History Of Violence for $20 during a FS sale and I thought that it was a good deal. Oh well. Good variety of titles though.

There's definitely some decent stuff on there. I own some of it already though.

Finally a good price on Afro Samurai: Resurrection. I'll be picking that up for sure, though I imagine that's one of the all month deals. Will almost certainly pick up Inkheart this week though.

Really wish Appleseed had lossless audio.

After just finishing the first season of the Tudors I'm kinda interested in The Other Boleyn Girl, but not sure if I can blind buy it.

Other Boleyn Girl has an EXCELLENT story and is an eye opening film of how things really were in those days. i was pleasantly surprised when i watched it
