The ice cave had a bit of the feel of the maze in THE SHINING as well. Unfortunately, all those allusions did was make me wish I were watching THE THING and THE SHINING instead.

There's a show on MAX that TD: S4 also reminded me of, thematically-wise, called The Head. There are two seasons on there and the first season is excellent. I have not watched the second season yet. It's a Spanish production, with an international cast and it's also multi-lingual with appropriate subtitles.

Just finished E1 and loved it! Beautiful build up and very compelling suspense. I hope it holds up. Thanks again for steering me to it!
