I guess I severely overestimated how many people cared about this movie. No comments, no reviews anywhere than I can find, no nada! Has anyone heard rumblings about the 4K of this or Zoltan? I got rid of both on BR in anticipation for this release but am trying to gage if this is a movie to get now or hold off a few months.

I watched this one over the weekend, I sold off my BLU a while back … but I think this has the BLU also … but I thought it looked fine, its not demo material.

I think I enjoyed it a little more than my first viewing a few years ago

the best of the Exorcist ripoffs and a crazy good performance by the lead actress

I just don't feel a pressing need to upgrade this one, especially if the improvements in 4K are negligible at best.

I'm no fan of those two movies with Chevy Chase, Fletch, I think they're called. But I would think that those would sell better in UHD than this. I watched this once and I didn't see much that would make it that great as a UHD...especially without any bells and whistles like HDR/DV. But then, I am no pro when it comes to HDR/DV.

Anyone watch this UHD? Have any thoughts?

Wow, where the hell have I been? How have I never seen this before? I thought this was a blast. It's right up my alley. Sure it's kinda cut-rate in some departments and the effects are pretty cheese, but man, some of the satanic battle-action makes The Exorcist look like a kiddie warm-up round. I agree, the lead actress throws out one hell of an inspired, over-the-top performance. The uhd is nothing to write home about, typical Kino minimal effort, but since I didn't have the title in my collection at all and this was a blind buy, I'm just happy to have the film in my collection now. I'll rewatch it again this weekend. Solid exorcism fodder here, and I agree with other comments that it's definitely among the better "supernatural/sacrilegious/possession" Exorcist-influenced knock-offs of its time. The lack of interest or familiarity with the title as reflected by the lack of participation in this thread is surprising, but no less so than the fact that I'd never seen it myself, despite my pretty extensive horror collection comprised of thousands of vintage titles. No idea how I missed out on this one for all these years.

Thought this was a great watch. I have the Imprint blu ray because of the special features but great movie. Might get this in the future but likely only when Kino has a sale.

I'd add that the Oderisi family "mansion" where this was filmed is an incredible combination of on-site architectural and artistic marvels from ancient Roman sanctuaries and palaces, combined with some truly incredible set-pieces constructed just for the film, emulating more of the same. The result is a fictitious mansion of stunningly grand opulence, with over-the-top massive pieces of framed wall art the likes and sheer scale of which I've never seen before, incredible marble casing and carvings on all the doorways and arches, amazing crystal chandeliers, huge incredible vintage pieces of hand-carved furniture such as wardrobes, library consoles and commode chests, etc. etc. that should not be missed by fans of gothic Italian art, architecture, design and decoration. They surely didn't pull any punches here with the style and flair of their stellar set designs.
