It's that warning about being possibly hit with fees that will double the price of the disc. Seeing something like that is massively off-putting, I have never been hit with import charges for a Kickstarter but it made me stop and think before backing. I would say that as long as everything is set up to serve only/mainly the US, sales will be significantly impacted, especially if after the Kickstarter ends there's still no way to order a physical disc to any address outside of America.

As stated elsewhere as per previous EYEPOP-3D Kickstarters, the non-USA discs will ship from the UK so UK backers will not incur any import duties.

Import duties present a double edged sword for us; we have previously had complaints about import duties being levied - so if we warn we receive complaints, if we don't warn we receive other complaints.
