I also got to watch it in 3D laser IMAX and I agree with that assessment... gonna try to catch it again in Dolby, even if it's not in 3D, just to gauge the range of color and the brightness.
(the 3D IMAX didn't look particularly bad but I kinda wished it could have been just a teensy bit brighter)
