Default Vintage home theater

In my basement I have started to build my vintage home theater. The thoughts surrounding this project are:

1. It is a home theater for old SD formats like vhs, betamax, video 2000, laserdisc and maybe DVD.
2. I want the end result be something that looks like it could be a cool early 80s room.
3. Because of that I want a crt projector for the right feel. Also because it is cheap to get good analog SD image on a CRT.
4. Because I will mostly watch old vhs and LDs the set-up will be a 4:3 screen. It also feels right and CRT projectors are 4:3 natively so the choice is easy.

The projector is a Sony VPH-D50 and I have made a DIY a 63" 4:3 sceen that have some small folds that I will fix soon. The projector will have a "hushbox" built like a small table over it so one cannot see the projector.
Right now I have not calibrated anything and have just done a very fast basic set-up for the projector. So it will look a lot better later on but still right now I'm very pleased with the early result.
Picture, The Crow on LD and Silent scream on a 40 year old dutch video 2000 release.

Maybe you can find a Sony KP-7220, KP-5020 or something similar if you're too lazy or want a period correct coffee table projector.
As a kid I used to over one of these projectors at a local HiFi/Video store.

Or maybe a KP-5040, if 50" isn't too small:
