Make sure that Fandango At Home is installed.
Make sure that your phone is on the same WiFi network as the Roku.
Swipe down from the top twice, to get a fuller list of settings.
Select (turn on) "Smart View". (Non-Samsung phones may call this Cast or something else.)
Select your Roku as the device (to accept mirroring).

If you chose Prompt on the Roku, you must now tell the Roku to permit mirroring.

The Roku should now be mirroring whatever is on your phone screen.
Open Fandango At Home on your phone, search for your 3D movie. It may not appear in the search directly, but only as a 2D/3D bundle. Nevertheless, you should be able to find the 3D movie and start it.
The 3D movie will begin to play in side-by-side mode.
Press the 3D button on your 3D TV's remote control. Select the side-by-side option. Your 3D TV should now go into its 3D mode.
Thank you!

I tried watching Despicable Me 4 which I previously purchased on my Pixel 5 and it did come up with 2 pictures side by side so I assume that will work. Now I just need a Roku. Not sure if my TV can handle that kind of 3D though (LG 2016) but the Rokus seem cheap might be worth chancing it.

I have an LG and mirroring works with both my IPad and phone.

My Samsung A35 can, using Smart View, mirror its screen directly to my 2015 LG 3D TV (model 55EC9300). No Roku required.
Whether mirroring directly to the TV or to the Roku, I use the 3D button on my remote to change side-by-side into true 3D.

Why do we not have such a service in the UK that offers 3D digital content?!

Considering the dearth of devices that support Fandango’s now-garbage app, we practically don’t have it in the USA either.

I note the following prices for 2024 Universal 2D/3D bundles:
Wicked, $19.99
The Wild Robot, $19.99
Migration, $14.99

The question is, Can we expect Wicked to drop to $14.99 any time soon? Or does Universal believe that, as a live-action musical, it will 'forever' (a year or more) deserve the higher price?

Although Fandango At Home does not mark $19.99 as a sale price, MoviesAnywhere does. Microsoft is maintaining the $29.99 level.

I purchased the Wicked 2D/3D Bundle for $19.99. My Samsung A35 correctly uses SmartView to cast it onto my LG 55EC9300 3D TV. A loss of resolution is perceptible, particularly when foreground characters are in motion; but it's quite watchable.

Note that this bundle includes only HDX for both 2D and 3D versions. The 2D version is available in 4K UHD separately for $19.99.

Definitely tempted to purchase on Fandango but may wait for the potential disc.
Wicked had decent 3D that added to alot of scenes, but it obviously could not hold a candle to the true native 3D wonders of another Oz film: Oz The Great & Powerful. Sam Raimi and Peter Deming did wonders with the 3D in that film: imo it is one of the best ever native 3D films ever shot. Not only are the 3D visual exquiste, but the cinematography doesn't look video-y and is quite cinematic, unlike alot of 3D lens films of the time.

Regardless, I cannot wait to pump up the color on my TV for Wicked. Loved the movie but the subdued color timing is diabolical!

I am tempted to get it just to support vudu/fandango still offering 3D titles, but I feel like this will drop down to 14.99 at somepoint in the near future

Also, the singing is really good and some of the songs are pretty catchy. I bought Popular and Defying Gravity. That's about all that's good though. I thought the plot was ****. Yes I know this is play that many love. Well I didn't like it at all, and I really, really hate how they made Glinda a ditz and a jerk.

It's more like a spoof or satire of the Wizard of Oz. And as a prequel, I think Oz the Great and Powerful did it far, far better. After the movie I wanted to cancel my UHD pre-order but I have been thinking more and more about it, and maybe I should give it another chance. Knowing now what to expect maybe I an enjoy it for what it is a little more. Not going to the theater again. And if there's a Turbine 3D eventually I will get that. But for now I'll probably just wait for the UHD. And depending on how that goes, decided whether to watch Part 2 in the theaters or just wait to stream it.
As an update, here now is my post on the UHD: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...9#post22858909

Jeez Disney charges a fortune for their stuff that's now kind of long in the tooth. Good thing I have all of those titles on 3D disc.
