bsmooth Member Member since:Aug 2011 Location:New England	You probably won't believe this, but all the switches and rotary pots went bad in mine. I live about a quarter of a mile from the ocean. I took it in to see what was wrong. The tech showed me a few switches and a pot, and they were covered with green corrosion. Salt air smells great, but its not too kind for electronics, all depends on the winds too, and we get constant east winds right off the ocean. Your right to about more modern ones I still have a Yamaha RX-V757 that I use. Its not too vintage, but its not new either.
