I haven't read a discussion about "glare" on Plasmas for quite a while.

Personally I wouldn't let it bother you or prevent you from buying a plasma, if that's the technology you prefer. In the 50 or 60 years we had CRT's we lived with glare and closed the curtains if we had any. Now all of a sudden glare becomes an issue? Oh yeah, that's because of the LCD fanboys making it an issue! I love LCD too and not knocking it..just trying to make a point.

The Plasma fanboys have retorted with their own advantage, which is better viewing angles. I prefer to say no loss of picture quality from any angle. LCD's can't claim that advantage.

Unless your watching a plasma during the day in the desert (don't forget you'll need a gas-powered generator)...forget about the glare issue!
