I don't know about the PS5 version, but the Switch release appears to be complete on cart. I'd assume this will be the same for PS5. I've heard the Switch version has some framerate issues, but maybe its better on PS5? Sorry, not the best answer, but probably a positive indicator if you were interested in it.
