We have a Veterans Honor Park in our Sun River Community, and they have a Memorial Day Ceremony. I'll be there Monday Morning and at that Park I have an Honor Brick for my Service in the Vietnam War.

Hope everyone remembers why this weekend in the US is a national holiday. For those traveling, stay alert and be safe.

For those that have served and serving, “Thank you for your service”. For alchav21, congratulations on your recognition of your service by the Veterans Honor Park.

Putting Box Office Movie Files on a Server can be done now, it's just not practical. Like anything else the pricing will come down to Mainstream when the demand is there!
it is not about practical it is about reasonable. It is easier for a company to put a bigger file on a server than a small one (a raw file does not need compression and tweaking like a highly compressed one does). Netflix raised their prices this year (depending of package) by 15%-33% that is insanely high inflation. Even if you are to assume it gets cheaper for them, don't you think it would be better for them to have more reasonable increases instead of add in quality when their customers say "I would rather watch ads if it saves me some dollars?

Well now it's not cheap to get Quality Streaming, especially with Fiber. Basic Streaming Subscription is costly with Amazon Prime, Hulu, AppleTV, and Netflix. No cost on Fandango and Movies Anywhere...Streaming is not Cheap!
The quality is low and I agree it is not cheap, but most people don't have critical thinking skills. Netflix saying 7.99 with ads sounds cheap to them because they silo it, it is the same reason stuff used to advertise 12 instalments of 7.99 instead of 100$, it is the same reason when you go to buy a car the dealwer will try and talk you into a lease and then push you for some add-ons "if you go with ___it is only 20$ more a month, you can afford 20$ can't you?"

But you are the one that thinks it will make sense for them to charge 10x (or more) t o offer UHD BD quality.

The rest of us get it, prices are high, prices will go up, quality will remain the same. Because companies need to be profitable.

It is $19.99 on the iTunes store.

For $24.99 you can get UHD BD and the iTunes copy comes with it for free.

Man wanted to Fly Like A Bird, so they built some Wings and Flew! So if they want to go after the Disc Collector, they will put Quality Files on the Movie and TV Show Servers!

The thought of them "going after" the disc collector is funny.

Let me know when they resort to improving streaming quality if I'm still here.

Meanwhile it's a great time to build a library.

who is those "they"? this is not fahrenheit 451. No one can make money coming after me and my collection, and they can just waste their money and go bankrupt trying to give you the quality I am getting since you are not willing to pay much more to have that quality.

"They" are trying to add ads not quality.

Picked up the Shout Select 4KBD/BD of K:19 The Widowmaker. Great movie, just never cared for the original mastering on the BD. The Shout is really nice.

For the helluva it I activated a free trial of Apple's streaming service. Is there anything unique to this service that is particularly good? Is it easy to share access to it with family and friends?

If I keep it after the free trial it is definitely inexpensive at $9.99/ month. Streaming is still pretty damn cheap.

I ordered the UHD also. Could not determine what digital code was included
How did you determine that it was iTunes?

ATV+ has several Nature series that we liked. Silo series was passable only because it had Rebecca Ferguson in it. Really liked the Apple original movie Ghosted, The Gorge was also pretty good.

I really liked Coda and Ghosted and even the Gorge (movies).

I enjoyed Severance at least the first Season. I liked Mythic Quest but that's one of those you like or you don't.

I know people that love the Morning Show and Ted Lasso.

In the past Paramount gave you a choice of where to redeem, iTunes or Fandango. Same was true of Lionsgate but the last couple have been Fandango only.

Yes, this is true and none of the Mission Impossible movies are on MoviesAnywhere so what I said is likely false.

I'm really don't use the online copies of my movies but I redeem and share them with others.

Dead Reckoning part 1 and all the other MI movies are in my iTunes so hopefully part 2 has the option to redeem there.

I watched Tehran on there and thought it was really good. Unfortunately, they never made a 3rd season.
