A24 Films will be releasing the comedy film Friendship (2025) on Blu-ray on August 5th! The film stars Tim Robinson, and Paul Rudd. I saw it a few weeks back in theaters, and loved it. It's very much in line with Tim Robinson's cringe/awkward brand of humor, which may turn some people off. This should be a wide release, eventually available at B&N, Amazon, and elsewhere.

Feel like A24 are giving up 4K UHD, this is what 3-4 releases in a row with no 4K UHD option

A24 should still be releasing 4K UHDs of their films and I don't know why they stopped in the way they did.

(Actually, I'm fine with just Blu on this - just preordered)

I feel like A24 is holding off on UHDs until they put out the MaxXxine trilogy set. Don't quote me on that, just a hunch I have.

They've done things like the Lighthouse limited edition 4k after the standard wide release distributed by Lionsgate, but as far as the editions they themselves make? No

Maybe if A24 actually sold combo packs instead of a 4K disc only for a whopping $50, more people would actually buy them.

After tax + shipping costs the 4ks I've gotten from them direct are like $44 so I understand the frustration. Now that their stuff is available wide, I'm definitely getting them from different sources to save on shipping
