I looked it up and didn't really get any answers. IMDB made it seem like a full film length feature of its own, but there's no other info on the page.

Maybe it's a mini doc on the franchise or the film or something.

It could be. I've actually never seen this film nor franchise but heard enough about it to be surprised at it getting a release like this.
