Adventures of Robin Hood, The: The Complete Series (TV) (1955-1958)

I've been thinking about this series for years now. I'm really curious if it's as much fun as it is in my my Memories. I started researching it and ended-up pretty confused.

I'm not sure when it was shown in the U.S., but I remember being pretty small and digging it for a few years. I think it might have been a Saturday Morning offering (shown alongside all the Rerun Cartoons like Huckleberry Hound and WB cartoons), or maybe an after school thing. I'm assuming it was somewhere in the 50s... maybe a bit later, but again, I was tiny and I'm 72 now.

I'm curious about the different Complete Sets and their quality etc.. As far as I can see there are a few different releases:

I was thinking there'd be a few of you folks who were fans (unless most of us are all dead) and might have some info. I'm assuming the Collections with more discs would be less compressed, but maybe that doesn't even matter on these. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance!
