Default Best TV Show Title Songs

Not all TV shows have title songs, but for those that do. I consider a TV show song to be a TV show title song if it meets the following two criteria:

1. It was specifically made for the TV show.
2. The lyrics of the song contain the title of the TV show at least once.

Here are some of my favorites:

"Car 54, Where Are You?"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5MkCAwupe0

The theme song from the original TV show version of "The Addams Family".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfawtDT945o

The longest version of the theme song from "Sesame Street".

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWoPI2XVybI

"The Brady Bunch"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he4WPvKGGR0

"WKRP in Cincinnati"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQvCNLIVydM

"3-2-1 Contact"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2-LEBc2sO8

"Reading Rainbow"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ygs3IHJ2bM

"Garfield and Friends"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvYE46dUKVQ

"The Magic School Bus", which was sung by none other than Little Richard:

"Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9aDMuBjR7Q

Those are some of my favorites. Feel free to share yours with me. Have a nice day.

Even more interesting perhaps are TV's musical themes that had lyrics unused for the show but heard on records:

Bewitched

I Dream of Jeannie

The Munsters

Those are all good, but I especially like the Wonder Woman intro with its transitions from live action to animation.

Nice to already see the love for the mighty WKRP and Wonder Woman.

I'll do a couple for now. More to follow... no particular order.

This one I am going to cheat a little bit. From the movie, not the series... because I love the extended version (and the film intro is so damn good)

The end credits song for WKRP in Cincinnati is killer.

The 90s sitcom Step By Step had a song that included the show's name.

God bless you and the remaining cast members always!!!

Holly

P.S. I still can't believe that Suzanne Somers has gone forward already.

Two of my favorites; I'm surprised no one has mentioned them yet...

And just for kicks, here's the former's revamp with altered lyrics...

And that opening song was quite a long song for a half-hour sitcom, kind of like "Where In The World is Carmen Sandiego?" was quite a long song for a half-hour game show.

I'm not complaining about the song being too long. Many people (including me) seem to like longer songs. Movie title songs are often longer than TV show title songs, which is probably why this thread is shorter than the thread I made about movie title songs.

Yup. His first tv work was writing for animated series.

He's come a long way since then, hasn't he?
