The best part of not showing any ads in Blu-Ray is well... Blu-Ray still seems to be winning the battle in the HD movie world! I like what they are doing, it looks like they are getting hardware back-up before they get into the software back-up.

I was pretty young when betamax came out and the one thing that I keep hearing to why they lost the battle was that Sony only was the only one that made betamax, and well if you look at it now only Toshiba is the only one to make HD-Dvd. I myself am not worried about ads, cause when all the cards are in place there will be ads from of everyone that wants to sell there hardware, and unlike the HD Dvd camp having Toshiba and MS doing the add and paying people off, BDA will have loads of people putting there money into ads to promote Blu Ray, it is a actually a very smart strat on BDA camp to have HD DVD out of the picture by hopefully next Christmas season.
