I understand your point. My point is that according the PQ reviews I saw of WOZ I was specting a transfer a la The Searches. Cheers.

I think even more work went into the Wizard of Oz master than into The Searchers. The latter only looks better because it was shot in VistaVision, which has a higher quality than regular 35mm.

I didn't check the thread but kudos to whomever (if anyone) listed Letters From Iwo Jima. Eyes wide open when I've watched this BD in the past! It has a great natural like to it and I hope studios take the hint.
