Maybe your order was already prepared for dispatch before you had time to fully cancel the whole order. I have always found their customer service fantastic so give them and email when you get your package and i'm sure they will be happy to refund

No, I got the email yesterday about Highlander being canceled so I immediately replied to cancel the rest of my order and it was not "shipping soon" yet.

Then this morning they charge me and ship it. Almost 20 hours later.

Oh I didnt realise they had done that. Its not really like Amazon to do something like that. Hopefully they will refund you as thats not really acceptable. I suppose you could put it down to how busy companies have been over the holidays. Mix-ups happen unfortunately

It could be them being busy, but I feel this order was forced on me. When Amazon.com canceled a part of my order there were 2 links in the email, one to cancel the whole order, and one to finalize the order with the remaining items.

It just angers me that now I have to wait and get either a refund which takes weeks (counting UK to US shipping time) or if that fails, call my CC and get the charge back. Which is the equivalent of "screw you" to the company that charged me (Amazon) and I love Amazon.

If it had been just that I would have been ok. But to cancel a part of an order, ignore the email canceling the rest and ship it anyways just bothers me. Such a waste of time and resources.

I'm sure if you email CS and explain what happened they'll take care of you. I've found Amazon.co.uk's service to be equally as good as Amazon.com
