Okay, my 4 volumes of James Bond series Blu covers are on imageshack now. I think these links will work. I'm not very up to speed on uploading stuff to sites to host the files.

I've also uploaded my Star Trek movie series two 6-case solution, and a re-working of a Mission Impossible Trilogy cover that I found, but that was in Dutch (?). As with my Bond covers, all of these are 6-disc cases with 25mm spines.

Found them recently, some ebay sellers have started selling (big shock) them and import them over here. Course this all depends where your from of course.

I just bought a bunch from tape.com. They come in 10-packs and were per-case cheaper than Vernon. Can't comment on a quality comparison, but they are fine for me.

I'll the covers I've seen are Fantastic! Keep up the great work!

I look forward to seeing more of your incredible Cover art! I may ask if I can use yours in stead of the original cover that come with the blu-ray.

I just finished my inside cover for my Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Season 1) collection. I also have one that's black-and-white that i'll probably use. I hope it works out. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. (which may be a while)

Yup I ordered some about 2 weeks ago about 6 each in the 3,4,5,6 cases very nice. I like these a little better than those Elite cases in the 3,4,5,6. These from Vernon might be a little thicker but not much but they hold onto the BD alot better IMO. Every time I order some or buy something that comes with a Elite 3 disc and up seems like 1 or 2 disc is always loose inside the case since there isn't much for the BD to hold onto.

But I do like the Elite 1 and 2 disc cases better.

Exclamation Criterion Collection Sets!

Okay all...

I am thinking of doing a collection set of custom covers for Criterion. This studio's covers are plaigued by cheap cardboard cases and odd styled clear cases.

Many collectors of Criterion movies would love to see sets done for these, So I hae decided to do so, in both 15 an 25mm 6-disc cases...

The problem however, is that as you can see on this page HERE, there are (in the US) 30 currently released Criterion moves, with another 12 slated for release the first part of this year.

Now, not everyone owns or wants to own all the Criterion movies, and there is no real order to them like there is with the Bonds! So, I ask all you trusty Criterion fans to help me:

These sets will have to feature a random group of 6 movies from Criterion's list linked above, released or announced. I can though, put them in groups of the most popular first. This will make it so the first and even second set will contain movies that most will own, then from there, the other sets will contain the less desired titles...

I am however not a great source of knowledge for Criterion movies, so I ask you all to help me by listing what you think should be in at least the first two sets.

So, from the linke page of 42 films, please pick the top 12 movies, with the top six that would go in the first set. For those keen, you could also list films for the other sets as well.

I don't want to have to make more than one version of this set, so whatever the majority thinks will be the final set contents.

In total, with the 42 currently released and announced titles, there would be exactly 7 sets, so that will be the final result; with of course more to come in the future.

Thank you everyone for your help!

You need to lighten the text considerably. If that makes it hard to read because of the lightning effect then put some drop shadow behind it.

Alternately, you could go with lighter text and a dark stroke/drop shadow.
thanks for the ideas guys. I'll see if I can figure out how to do that. I'm not very good with photoshop, I just wanted to give the inside a go.

Thanks!

It'll probably end up looking more like this:

Because it's the inside cover for the case. Which I believe is generally black and white.

BPM,

You certainly have a challenge trying to catalog the Criterion collection. I think the most logical way to do it would be chronologically. Although this posses a problem when new CCs drop. Therefore, maybe the best way to do it would be trying to group films by similarity in theme or genre.

BPM, here's an idea for your first set of your criterion collection:

set 1 - "the Auteur set"

1. 8 1/2 - Frederico Fellini
2. 400 Blows - Francois Truffaut
3. Repulsion - Roman Polanski
4. Paris, Texas - Wim Wenders
5. Wings of Desire - Wim Wenders
6. The Wages of Fear - Henri Georges Clouzot
7. The Third Man - Carold Reed

Your body of work certainly demonstrates that you would be able to figure out how to list the seven titles in the most aesthetically pleasing way, my order is pretty much random.

- yikes just figuring out that seven was a tall order. People reading this should pitch in, BPM needs our help!
