HD DVD camps have surely got thier hands on the ball. Transformers sold 190,000.00 units in its first week of release. http://www.dvdtown.com/news/transfor...d-release/4844

now we have spidey 3 and the boxset to look out for. what do you think will be the outcome? Would it surpass transformers numbers? Would it match it?. Would it definitely end this ridiculous format war?

What strategies do you think the Bluray camp needs to pull? This is a dirty battle, so far proven by HDDVD's group by taking over Paramount and dreamworks pictures. Should Bluray get to their level? Should BD camp Play dirty? What do you guys think?

Spider-man 3 should stomp Transformers on HD-DVD. The PS3 crowd should show up at B&M stores en masse.

I also just saw an ad on TV during LA Ink (on TLC) just 15 minutes ago for the Blu-ray edition of Spider-Man 3. This was a strictly Blu-ray ad! There was no mention of the DVD version! Hopefully they air this commercial on the big network stations soon (if they aren't already).

On the opposite side of the coin, earlier tonight I saw an ad for Shrek 3, but it didn't mention the HD-DVD version at all.
