Quick Firmware Question

Each player has different ways to update firmware. All the ones I've used have supported a CD update (download the firmware and burn to a CD-R or ask the manufacturer to mail you a disc). Some also support updating from a USB stick (download the firmware and copy it onto the stick), which can be quite convenient. Each player is different, though - what player are you using?

I've probably updated the firmware on my BD30 at least half a dozen times. Depending on the player and the manufacturer, you may see a few updates during the first six months that it's on the market, then more infrequent updates that are likely to be driven more by a need to fix compatibility issues with new disc releases.
