Because, someone like me would be very critical of the show and not get much out of them. A theater in the home is a lot more than a television hanging on the wall of a family room. And any show would undoubtedly be nothing more than product placement for Bose, Monster Cables, and the ilk.
And why should I, as a potential viewer, consider any offering to be of expected value when all of the boutique shops around me constantly show off Badges on completely uncalibrated equipment to signify the more money than brains conclusion they have concluded? I'd much rather hear from folks that actually bought and own the equipment, explain how they setup their equipment, calibrated, etc., as a final solution. I'm not interested in the Best Buy motif of what they think HT is in order to push another boob-tube TV. Hmm, I guess I wasn't too critical after all. ![]() |
