If you want the extended cut of Walk the Line just import the UK release. It won't cost you much through Amazon UK. I agree with you, the extended cut of Walk the Line is a superior product. So just do what I did and import it.

I am now ! That Marketplace seller was a real dick ! I pointed out I chose Expedited shipping ( good thing I did ), their response was " so ? I use first class all the time no matter what." Then WHY offer expedited ( which then becomes Priority ) ??? Because they think Amazon DEMANDS them to offer it !?!?!?!? WHA ? Noooooo....then while we're talking, they cancel my order because I " have an attitude."

Some extended cuts feel like pieced together bits of deleted scenes, this one worked because it flowed well, while fleshing out the detail and depth. It's been a year since I watched this, and I don't recall the exact differences off the top of my head, so I hope that gives you enough info.
