Default Places to buy Blu-rays in USA?

I'd like a good list of places to pick up blu-ray movies in America. Not online (Amazon.com or BestBuy.com) but actual big-box store to pick up the movies in person.

I am on a mission to find some with specific slipcovers, that is why I would like to know. Here is what I have so far:

Best Buy
Target
Walmart
Fred Meyer
FYE
Costco
Barnes & Nobles
Borders
Fry's Electronics

... where else should I look?

(I am in Seattle by the way)

Ethan

Check your LOCAL yellow pages for stores or just go to the biggest city near you for larger selection.

Hi Ethan,

I'm in Seattle as well! Here are a few places you haven't thought of:

Silver Platters - There are a few in the area. I know of one in Lower Queen Anne.

Easy Street Records - They carry new and used. A rather limited selection, but still worth a shot. There's one in Queen Anne and one in West Seattle.

Borders Books & Music - There's one downtown on 4th Ave, I believe.

Scarecrow Video - The ultimate video rental store. In the U-District. They sell new titles, specialize in Criterion, and may have what you're looking for.

Have you checked the Amazon Marketplace for the titles you're looking for? Sometimes a seller will state that the BD comes with the slipcase, or you can ask.

Thanks! I'm actually in Bellevue and I have a Barnes & Nobles and a Silver Platters right next to each other in Crossroads, 5 minutes from my house. I will hit them up tomorrow to see if they have anything. Good suggestion on Silver Platters!

As for Amazon Marketplace, I have searched and for the specific ones I want they aren't listing a slipcover unfortunately.

The same can be said for Borders as well.

If you're going to BDs at a store then you're best is Fry's if you have one near you followed by Best Buy or Wal-Mart. Just don't expect much from Wal-Mart in terms of selection.

If you're looking for brick & mortar, here are my favorites.

Movie Exchange (Houston)
Half Price Books (I think they are nation wide, blu-rays tend to be under 15)
Fry's Electronics (They mark down blu-rays to 10 bucks all the time)
And yes, the devil itself, Best-Buy. I walked in there yesterday and saw all their recent price drops. I had to hold myself back from going on a spending spree.

And if you are looking for online.

gohasting.com

It's easily the best place to buy them online (price wise). The only downside is that basic shipping can take anywhere from a week and a half to 3 weeks. But there is faster shipping methods available, just depends on your preference.

EDIT: Also forgot Costco. I actually missed out on the 5 disc version of Blade Runner for 10 bucks once!
