So I finally got around to checking a little more on new headphones and came across those:

Sennheiser HD-595 Premier Headphone

Audio Technica ATHM40FS Precision Extended Response Monitor Headphones

Does anyone have experience with those?

It's hard to find a place here in Hawaii where you can actually test them
Most ones they have out and playing some music are the Bose ones and cheap Sony...

Feedback would be highly appreciated.

I've got the Sennheiser model. I'm pretty happy with them. If you go with these you may want to consider a separate headphone amp. I never got one, but when I did my headphone research I came across a few recomendations for one to get the most out of these headphones.

I haven't tried out the HD-595, but I have the Sennheiser HD-600 audiophile headphones and the HD-570. I use the 600's for music, and the 570's for everything else. I love both pieces, so with the 595's being a few steps above the 570's I can't imagine there would be anything displeasing about them.

Have you tried Pure Digital? They have a huge Sennheiser selection, and most (if not all) are available to test if I recall.

Actually no... I haven't heard of this store until now. I found their website and might go check them out sometime this week. Their prices seem to be pretty ok as well... for local standards

Thank You
